2019 – 2020 Sessions

Young Hogwarts, Session 1: Niffler

Consecutive Fridays, 9:30 am – 12:30 pm
Sept. 20, Sept, 27, Oct. 4, Oct. 11, and Oct. 18

Board the Hogwarts Express from Platform 9¾, and enroll for a camp of supersized wizarding fun, magically transfigured to fit our young Dragonfly students! Five weeks of half day camps at Hogwarts with our usual enchanting cast of characters! We'll fly all over the grounds—activities may include: learn about the different houses from the sorting hat, tame a fantastical beast, brew up a potion, learn wandcraft, cast spells, and engage in role play to evoke wizarding stories! Each day of this weekly camp, tiny witches and wizards will immerse themselves in the magical world of Harry, Hermione, Ron and all the others from JK Rowling’s imagination! Campers are welcome to wear their wizarding world gear, too!

Note: We’ve also conjured another week/session of Young Hogwarts later in the year, though each camp is a different take on this theme!

This camp is closed. Please sign up for one of our other Dragonfly camps.

Explore and evolve your budding artistic techniques! This kinder-age camp uses the appealing title character on a colorful exploration! Let’s get drawn into a whole collection of art skills, brush up on fun games, and give our creative and colorful imaginations some great practice! This camp will pair up basic skills along with unique art techniques (including collage, just like author/illustrator Eric Carle uses)! Campers will spread their wings for a gallery showing on the last day of camp!

Creative Drama: Mixed Up Fairy Tales

Consecutive Fridays, 9:30 am – 12:30 pm
Jan. 10, Jan. 17, Jan. 24, Jan. 31, and Feb. 7

Explore the realms of legendary tales, and the infinite realm of your imagination in this drama and arts camp! With a little extra focus on some legendary furry and feathered friends, our team will adventure through forests and fables, review famous fairy tales, and then retell our own favorites, remixed with fun twists and alternate endings—so prepare for twists and turns! Bring your creativity to the stage and your own all-new Fairy Tales, all-mixed-up! For example, what if “Puss in Boots” and “Jack and the Beanstalk” mixed together and took a basket to grandmother’s house? What happens if Goldilocks visited the Three Pigs? Could you make an ending for “Sleeping Beauty and the Beast”? You get to tell the tale! Join us for the fun of riding dragons, building castles, and questing through page turners! This camp will have a showcase on the last day.
